Technical, Information and Engineering Services (TIES) is a multiple award IDIQ for the Communications-Electronics Research and Development Engineering Command (CERDEC) Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) under the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM). This is a three year contract with a $994M ceiling. Areas of support include technical and engineering program management, and operational expertise in intelligence, electronic warfare and information operations system development.
A Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Performance Based Services Contract that provides customized best value solutions to a diverse group of organizations that span the spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) mission requirements throughout the world. RS3 has a $37.4B ceiling with a 10-year ordering period (five-year base ordering period and five-year optional ordering period). RS3 primary service areas include but are not limited to Engineering; Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E); Logistics; Acquisition and Strategic Planning; Education and Training Services.
AVLE (Army Virtual Learning Environment) supports new Army innovations in training that require the design, development, and delivery of an extensive range of distributed learning products to include Interactive Multimedia Instruction, Digital Learning Content Objects, Analysis Products, Gaming, 3D Modeling and Simulations, augmented and virtual reality using delivery types never before used in Army distributed learning. This includes synthetic tutors, gaming engines, and virtual reality oculus goggles and other modalities that engage all human senses. This effort marks a new paradigm in distributed learning in a virtual learning environment. AVLE is a revolutionary concept that will shift the way the Army develops and delivers training and education products to the total force. The A-VLE proposes new programs, plans and policies, risk taking in leveraging new learning and neuro sciences and technologies in curriculum design, courseware design and delivery that will enable the execution of rigorous, relevant, and tailorable learning content at the point of need.
